Dr Wayne Atkinson of the University of Melbourne has been awarded the 2013 ‘Rio Tinto Award for Excellence and Innovation in Indigenous Higher Education’. Dr Atkinson is an Elder of the Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrung Indigenous Nations of the Murray-Goulburn and Central Victoria region.

Metro Screen Indigenous Production Scholarship

Successful applicants will undertake a 10 day accredited course.  The course starts on 13 September 2013 at Metro Screen, Paddington Town Hall, in Sydney.
